Arie, I'm really pleased to see your work in the format I always imagined it in. VERY POWERFUL !!! Size does matter and this is GREAT !!!

I'm very pleased you like these 3 portraits Brian, I had them on here before as you'll probably know. I had to to put them back on because I like the effect so much I've created here. Thanks for your comments!

About Arie Van der Wijst

Arie Van der Wijst

I love to create and explore. I have been commissioned to do acrylic paintings and drawings of animal portraits, landscapes, birds, pets and many other subjects over the years. My work is in different collections in several states of the U.S. and in several countries in Europe. I've been working a lot on digital paintings with the use of a so called drawing tablet. Basically it's about the same process than traditional painting, but it gives you more freedom in my opinion. And lately I've gone back to one of my old loves, photography. And in this digital era there's so much to explore and learn, one of the things I found out was that I love local wildlife photography, so birds and any animal I can find in nature. Thank you for visiting...
